Milk Chocolate     October 25, 2009

sometimes

I just seem to be

upside down

heart of me

all exposed

stripped bare

lonely

then I see

beauty

caught

upside down

not wasted

precision mastered

milk chocolate gills

calling me to see

worth in being

upside down

silly perhaps

awkward certainly

yet loved

just because my laughter

tastes of milk chocolate

as friends sip

from my gaiety

the upside down

child I am

now past sixty

still finding smile

within tattered mushroom

laughing with my Lord

laughing together

crouched side-by-side

Creator and child

exploring forest floor
