    Mother's Day 2009     May 10, 2009

    creation begins

    journeys open before us

    possibilities beckon

    whole universe quivers

    awaiting discovery

    because first we rocked in water womb

    warmed by heat of mother's heart

    beating strong above us

    her generations pouring into our souls

    our generation waiting

    unending cycle on hold

    then creation begins anew

    love continues to unfold

    birth the prime constant of life
